It was the "Jameson Raid" that took place close to our farm that inspired us to name Western Cane's latest venture of six Self-Catering Cottages - The Jameson Country Cottages.

Six beautifully appointed units, accommodating up to 20 people comfortably in the Victorian Styled units.

All the units are furnished in the style people have become accustomed to finding in the Western Cane showrooms. Some units even have items from the owner's personal collection of antiques and other interesting collectables. All the cottages are individually furnished from the vast collections of furniture available at Western Cane.

Relax and enjoy the Western Cane experience for a whole weekend or even a few days and explore our treasure trove at your leisure. Tea is served in our now legendary tea garden daily and as a resident you will enjoy the use of the pool and all facilities on the property.

Besides wonderful local walks a hiking trail is available for the outdoor minded.

Although our units are self-catering, Magaliesburg plays host to dozens of very good local restaurants, Hotels & Guest lodges all willing to provide you with an excellent meal. Booking is advised beforehand as Magaliesburg has become one of South Africa's premiere playgrounds for visitors from Johannesburg  & Pretoria, who are looking for a de-stressing weekend only one hour away.

We Have 6 cottages. All with Victorian bathrooms. Some with deep luxurious cast iron baths and all with showers.  Kitchens are fully fitted with the latest fittings and boast granite tops from nearby Rustenburg.

Everything in the cottages has that country look and all are fitted with the finest quality Oregon pine cabinets, tables and cane chairs. Some units have fireplaces and boast their own patios with wrought iron furniture.  Entertain people in our luxury Cottage with it's own patio and Lapa (Barbecue area) for those lazy afternoon braais.

We can accommodate  parties of up to 20 people. We are also able to accommodate a limited number of people for a small Conference. All units have T V with M-net, microwave ovens and are fully equipped with all crockery, cutlery and glassware. There is ample secure private parking and loads of space to walk about on the farm.Children can use the Western Cane Trading playground and swimming pool. Horse riding is available close by and we can even arrange lessons if necessary.

The Jameson Tea Garden is pleasant and delightful. We also serve light lunches and breakfast for those too relaxed to make their own. Breakfast is served as well as  light lunches. Our Pool has several pool loungers for your comfort.

Try to Check in at the front desk at Western Cane Trading before 5pm or make arrangements for a late arrival.
